Pierce, IHM is a religious with the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and has extensive experience in intercultural training. Sr. Kathryn was co-founder and program director of Maryknoll&rsquo;s Cross-Cultural Services Program for over 25 years. Spiritual Direction is the ministry of assisting another in their own conversion toward God. <br /><br />As a point of departure, we will consider conversion through the theology of Bernard Lonergan. Then we will examine Ignatius of Loyola&rsquo;s lifetime of spiritual conversions and psychological development. Finally, we will examine the movements of conversion through the Spiritual  Exercises. <br /><br />This seminar will provide opportunity for participants to reflect on their own journey of conversion.<br /><br />			<br />DAMIAN ZYNDA, Th. D. received her doctorate in Systematic Theology and Christian Spirituality from the Faculty of Theology at the University of St. Michael&rsquo;s College, Toronto in 2004.  <br /><br />She is on faculty in the Christian Spirituality Program at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and is the Director of Formation at the Church of the Transfiguration in the Diocese of Rochester, NY where she had developed an adult formation program based on the Spiritual Exercises. How do they see the world and how do they derive meaning from that world, to make sense of their own existence, and the existence of God?<br /><br />In order to help young people discover God&rsquo;s love for them, it is necessary to know and reflect on these characteristics. This seminar is about how to accompany the younger generation on their spiritual journey.<br /><br /><strong>Isabel Correa</strong> has worked with young people for more than a dozen years as a pastoral animator, catechist and retreat leader. She has dedicated her life&rsquo;s mission to the formation and evangelization of young people.
